Are these paintings really public domain?
Yes. All works in this collection are sourced from open-access museum archives — primarily the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rijksmuseum, and the National Gallery of Art (DC). These institutions have explicitly released the digital reproductions under CC0 (Creative Commons Zero), waiving all copyright claims. You may use them commercially, modify them, and redistribute them without attribution required.
Why pay if these are free at the museums?

What resolution are the images?
Most paintings are delivered at 4000–8000 pixels on the long edge — museum-grade scanning resolution. Suitable for print up to large format, digital painting reference, and detailed study of brushwork. Lower-resolution web previews (1200–2000px) are also included for fast browsing.
Can I use these for commercial work?
Yes. CC0 means no commercial restrictions. Use them in your paintings for sale, in commercial illustration, in courses you sell, in NFT collections, in published books, on merchandise — anything. Attribution to the source museum is appreciated as a courtesy but not required.
How do I receive the files after purchase?
